Delva The Mother - True Neutral - First of the Gods but forgotten to time.

Before there was anything, there was the Mother.  How she created everything is different from each of the ancient glyphs that we have found in long lost ruins, but none speak of Her in depth and she is all but forgotten.  Rumor is that she survives on the worship of her first five children.

The Major Gods

"I have met many that claim to be part of this 'hidden' goddess, and seen her symbol almost everywhere in the world, including assassin guilds.  Her influence is great and it seems that she controls death itself with her will.  I wish one day to see one of the special daggers her 'true worshipers' carry, just not used on me" - From the "Pantheon of Gods" by Minsnap Nadowicken Picture from Pintrest inform us if you know the original artist.

The Silver Mother - Lawful Evil - Created by "The Mother" and First Born of the Major Gods - Goddess of Death - Symbol, The Silver Spider on a Black Background - High Holy Day: The Winter Solstice

Most mortals to have seen her, think her a young woman with raven black hair, and most see her surrounded by thousands of spiders.  Those that serve her, to which there are only 12 mortals at anytime that are in her favor, carry a special dagger with the legs of a spider on the hilt.  Her emissaries, those that mortals call Orika whisper names of those that the Silver Mother has deemed to deserve death, and they kill them with the special daggers.  On the Winter Solstice, at it's darkest hour, followers will sacrifice one random person in her honor.  Most who claim to follow her, such as the Bodesty Assassins Guild, are not true followers but they still wear her symbol and act in her name.

In her mortal form she is a pale human female standing 5'6" with raven hair, some change to a silver hew in some visions, she is barely clad in a dark red to black dress and cape and is engulfed in moving spiders.
"The most amazing things that I have ever seen in my time as a priest and cleric were the Grim Reapers that come to claim the souls of dead.  I have only seen them a few times, usually with just expert timing as I cast True Vision upon myself, but I am convinced they are the most compassionate creatures and are, as well as their Lord Gomo, the most misunderstood beings in all the realm." -Eldon Slife, Advisor to King and Council of ReMeridan in a letter to the Shrine of the Five in Reinholdt 2E10075

After defeating all the other Gods, The Mother explained that was why he was chosen to watch the gates, and to make sure that everyone would get a fair deal whether they were to go to the Gods or Goddess tables or the Abyss for all eternity.  Followers gather and celebrate life as much as death and on the full moon of Harvest Month. They feast among the dead, celebrating in the cemeteries. They are often found wearing lockets of red hair.

Isara - Goddess of Justice - Symbol: Golden Gavel

Isara (LG) Normal form: A female golden Dragonborn standing 5’10” 174lbs with white eyes. She wears silver plate and carries a gold war hammer.

Isara was once a powerful Paladin devoting her life to Delva, ridding the world of all that was evil. It was her final quest that brought an end to her mortal life and brought her to the feet of Delva.

Isara was called by the counsel and told that Graz’zt was raising an army of evil demons in the depths of the Drazh Kazad. A small band of clerics and paladins joined Isara and headed into the depths of Tirianda. The party made their way deeper and deeper into the Drazh Kazad destroying creatures along the way and finally came upon the chamber that would change the Paladin forever.

As they entered the chamber they could see packs of lesser demons headed by seven Vrock that stood before three Balors who stood in front of Graz’zt. They knew that the odds were that not one would return to the surface but it was not theirs to decide but their faith in Delva that would guide their fate. The prayers began and the battle was on.

The nine highest ranking Delvaians were a blur of sword, hammer and mace. Dispatching the minor demons quickly and without mercy. The youngest of the nine had fallen by time they had reached the Vrock. The eight would continue the battle, their tactics outsmarting the dull-witted demons but the pure strength of the demons bested two more of the group when the three Balors jumped from their places and joined the fight.

With whips and swords in hand the Balors quickly dispatched two more of the group. Fire and lightning rained down throughout the chamber. The battle was sure joy to Graz’zt as he sat high above the battle on his throne. As the fire and lightning faded he realized that the last of the Balors surely had dropped.

Isara stood over one of the Balors and stared up at Graz’zt. Battered yet still standing stepped forward raised her Golden Hammer and declared, “Delva, by your power”. At that the Balor on his last breath drove its sword though the back of Isara and through her heart.

It is said that Graz’zt’s laugh could be heard throughout the Drazh Kazad.

That is when Delva pulled Isara from the mortal world and appointed her Goddess of Justice. She will stand for justice and to stand guard against all evil.

Followers: The highly devoted of Isara will pray for eight hours starting on the 8th hour of the 8th day of each month to remember Isara’s fallen companions. They usually will wear something that has a Golden Gavel on it.

Some question how a simple farmer could be raised to the status of a God. Akhena not only was one of a few that could farm the land it is said she also would give food to those in need. She cared for the people of the land and made sure that all had food regardless if they could afford to pay.

Akhena, labored her entire life on the farm. It is said that it is along the river in the North where Rangio in Tirianda now sits that she was able to farm.

Djundur: (CG) Normal form: Drow Male standing 5'3" 98lbs. He is normally found wearing  red and black formal clothing. Djundur represents fire and magic, it is through these that he has helped countless villages over his life time.

Djundur Do'Ana had risen to the rank of Qu'el'faeruk (House Wizard) in the 3rd house, House Do'Ana, before he made his move to escape to the surface. He knew that the Ilharess(Matron) Do'Ana would send the Qu'el'velguk (House Assassin) for his head. He could no longer keep his feelings down, that he had been born to the wrong life.

Djundur made is way through the Drazh Kazad (Black Fortress) and to the surface not knowing what he might find or if he would survive. He had no idea that his brother Elghinn'sol Do'Ana, the Qu'el'velguk, would chase him all the way to the surface. Years would be spent running from Elghinn'sol and keeping his distance from villages of the surface so that his brother would not be temped to kill any of them.

It was ten years before he was finally forced to interact with the surfacers, when he found that a Thalack'Akh (warband) was going to attack an Elven city. He was unsure how to warn them and decided to just come to the front gate. He hoped that all he was taught since a child about how they were the evil ones, was wrong and that they would spare his life long enough that he could warn them.

Although, never was he warmly welcomed, he spent the next 60 years warning villages and cities of impending attacks and often fighting along side those that would need his help against all forms of attackers. It was then while trying to warn a Dwarven clan of impending attack that, Elghinn'sol and his Thalack'Akh found Djundur and trapped him outside the gates of the Dwarven city. Although, Djundur was quick to attack and reign fire down on the Thalck'Akh without the Dwarves help, they were to much for him and while doing his best to keep them at bay it was his brothers twin blades that sunk deep in his back.

As the Thalck'Akh brought his body back to house Do'Ana it was is soul that Delva wanted. She lifted him to her side, as a man who could leave such evil behind him and spend the remainder of his life trying to do good for those who only seen evil in him. She knew only a few would ever be found that could be so selfless.

Ravaynore -  Goddess of Love, Romance & Beauty - Symbol: Beautiful face of a red haired woman

Since she was a young girl she would spend hours dreaming of a knight taking her way to a place where the rivers flowed and flowers bloomed. She knew this place must be far from Tirianda’s barren grounds, but she hoped that one day her knight would come.

On her 17th birthday her family decided to throw a great party for the young woman since she seemed so sad that there was no beauty in the land of her home and since that is all she ever talked about. This is when she met Vohdon, a young human male of striking looks. Ravaynore, seen beauty in him as she had never seen before and fell in love with him instantly.

Vohdon, had heard from a distance many times of her love of beauty and her wishes to be taken to a place where nature flourished in its own beauty. He would promise to take her away to such a place. He knew of no such place but if that is what it took to gain the love of such, he would promise it all the same.

Vohdon quickly gained her love and they headed to the east where he promised they would find nature in all it’s beauty as she so much longed for. For weeks they traveled and yet there was nothing that he spoke of and Ravaynore grew tired of waiting and swore she would return home if they did not find it soon.

As weeks turned into months she called him out on his lies and that she would return home heart broken. As she set to leave Vohdon could not stand the thought of losing his beautiful one and in a fit of rage killed her in the dry river bed and then turned the dagger on himself as he could not bare the thought of being without her.

Delva knowing Ravaynore was the most beautiful thing in the lands of Tirianda and understanding the true love the young woman held for the beauty of nature, her willingness to give up family for the chance of seeing her true love and her dreams. ELO - God of War, Battles, and Warriors -  Symbol: Black Greataxe with Red Leather Wrappings

ELO - God of War, Battles, and Warriors - Symbol: Black Greataxe with Red Leather Wrappings

Elo: (CN) Usual form: A male Human standing 6’3”, 213lbs, with long black thin hair, a short black beard and gray eyes. Wears silver plate mail and carrying a Black Great Axe with red leather wrappings. Elo was once a human, a mortal, the Master of Generals in the Kings Army, that was, until the 13th Battle of the Chaos Wars.

Elo and his brigade (1st Brigade) were to attack the enemy head on, the typical, honorable position for the Master of Generals. One of his Lieutenant Generals, Damos, was to flank the enemy with the 3rd brigade. Damos was not happy to take up what he thought was the cowardice position and let his jealousy and hatred guide him on the battle field that day. Damos had tricked the 3rd brigade into attacking Elo’s 1st brigade.

Elo, once aware that it was Damos’ 3rd attacking him called Damos out to a duel. Citing that the men should not suffer, that an honorable and courageous general would save his men and fight his own personal battles. Elo knew questioning Damos’ courage would surely get the General to the duel, and that it did. The two men met on the field of battle to settle the difference.

The battle between the two generals went on neither man besting the other until Major Okris of the 3rd Brigade yelled out, “the enemy is upon us”. Though there was no enemy in sight he had hoped that the cry would distract Elo long enough for Damos to get the upper hand. The ploy worked and Elo looked just long enough to allow Damos to thrust his sword between the chest plate and helm of Elo, setting his blade through Elo’s throat.

As Damos stood over the dead body of his former leader, the victory was short lived as he felt the cold steel of Okris’ dagger plunge into his spine. Damos too fell on the battlefield. Perhaps, that was punishment by the Gods for his tyranny and hatred.

None of the men from either brigade dared move on Okris. He was feared by most of the men, for the tales of his quick rise in rank was filled with stories of murder. Though none of the men were witness to these stories many man had seen misfortune befall those around Okris.

The battle with the enemy that followed found much misfortune on both the 1st and 3rd brigades, losing more than three fourths their men and finding Okris dead on the battlefield. There face down in the mud with two swords in his back it is unknown whether those swords were of his own men or those of the enemy.

The three men would be raised and brought to stand at the thrown of the Mother of Gods. She would appoint each as a god of her house.

Elo would be Neutral Good, God of War, Battles and Warriors. He would stand as an honorable warrior, who has courage and shows mercy to all warriors even his enemies when they are out matched.

Zalrin heard about the Lady who ruled many lands and had taken out many lords in her pursuit of riches and he knew she was the one that he would target for the heist. Why take on the small ones for copper when you can target the one with all the gold.

For Zalrin it was not about greed and certainly it was not about fame, it was all about the game, the score. It was about proving to himself that he could do the unthinkable, the unlikely and the impossible. You can’t call yourself the thief of thieves if you can not pull off what others can’t.

He found his target and worked his way into her life and gained her trust. He convinced her that they should marry and knew what he must do to take her for all the power and fortune she held. He would have to kill her.

What he didn’t know is she realized right there at the alter that he was going to have the rights to her fortune and her lands and she would not have that. She too would plot his death.

The two would die together and leave a fortune up for grabs among the house.

His ability to trick Edra into believing in him raised him to the status of God of Thieves & Stealth.

Okris would become Chaotic Evil. God of Murder and Misfortune. He would stand for murdering and murderers, and those that enjoy causing misfortune for others.

Followers: They celebrate the God on the 13th day of the Third Month, Vegido by way of murdering one of their own. As much a sacrifice as it is a murder. Most will wear a green cloak and most are thieves or assassins.

EDRA- Goddess of Greed and Madness - Symbol: Three gold coins

Edra: (NE) Usual form: A female Teifling standing 5’5” and weighting 128lbs with straight light purple hair and red eyes, she has short curling black horns. She wears black leather armor and carries two daggers.Edra could never have enough. Whether it was fortune or power, enough was never enough for her.

She would spend hours thinking about ways to get more fortune and power and she cared not who would suffer in the end because the means were little concern so long as the end it gave her more. Her constant pursuit of more eventually drove her mad.

Edra was born to a wealthy and powerful family and buy the time she was a teen she had tasted and yearned for power and fortune, she showed more determination than her older brother and often listened into her father’s conversations about his business.

When her father had told her brother that one day he would take over the family that was the start of the over powering greed of Edra, she planned out the “accidental” death of her brother knowing she would then be able to step into his position.

She didn’t wait long for her plans, knowing that her father was getting sicker and didn’t want to wait for him to die. She had killed her brother and made it look like it was an accident and was quickly taken in by her father to run the family.

Once her father was gone she quickly made reason to war with other neighboring Lords to seize their land and riches. She took Lord after lord and increased her fortune and power with each.

She was happy with her growing fortune and power until the day she met the man, the thief of thieves, Zalrin. She would later find out that he was not what he seemed to be but yet he was setting her up for the greatest heist known to man. He would eventually end up with it all. Or so that was the plan.

He convinced her to marry and on that day he would be standing as next in line to take her fortune. On that night of the wedding as they retired to their room, they each brought out bottles of wine. Neither suspecting the other of offering poisoned wine, they drank.

Edra would be appointed Goddess of Greed and Madness
